Then & Now
Since our very first surf trip to Costa Rica in 2004, we fell in love with not only the waves but the scenic beauty and tranquility of Costa Rica. We loved our vacation so much, we decided to build our own vacation home there. One home was just not enough, so we built three more. Now all of our family and friends can enjoy the beauties of our Costa Rica vacation homes.

Owners:
George & Katrina
George & Katrina Murdoch are the Owners of Pura Vida Casas & Designers of the Del Pacifico Estate. They live in Santa Barbara California and have 6 grown children. They built the Del Pacifico Estate to be a fun family place for them and others to enjoy special memories together.
George aka "Tubular George" is the original Murdoch family "Soul Surfer" and loves clean barrels, creative projects, and time with the grandkids. Katrina, also known as "Frenchie", brings an adventurous spirit and artistic touch to the villas and estate design.
Villa Managers & Concierge:
Daniel & Chloe
Daniel & Chloe are our Villa General Managers. They are here to make sure your experience is great from initial inquiry to the actual stay with us.
They have lived in Costa Rica since 2011 with their children and have managed the Del Pacifico Estate for the Murdoch family for more than a decade. They love helping guests find the best adventures Costa Rica has to offer.
Event Planning & Social Media:
Noe
Noe is our gifted in-house Wedding & Event Planner. She is a bilingual Costa Rican who has lived locally for years and is available to help couples with pre-planning needs from afar.
Noe has a passion for travel, DIY art projects, and beautiful events. She was also married at the Del Pacifico Estate, so she knows the experience from both sides.
Onsite Care Takers:
Janeth & Donald
Janet & Donald are our live-on-site caretakers. They help keep the villas in tip-top shape, from gardens and pools to cleaning and maintenance, and they are there to help ensure your stay is clean, comfortable, and well cared for.
